Jessica & Gracie | Seattle Elopement | Styled Shoot by The Vow Creative

This gorgeous styled elopement took place in the Tiger Mountain area outside of Seattle, Washington.

This day, this couple, and this location. Every single aspect of this elopement shoot has me obsessed.

Let me preface this blog with some background of why I cannot get over this session. My very first experience in Washington was this styled elopement and now I get to call this state home. I am a midwestern girl at heart and have grown up in Minnesota so to get to experience Washington in this way for the very first time, I just am so beyond blessed and speechless.

Now, back to these ladies’ elopement shoot! These two are the sweetest humans, and they were absolutely stunning for this day. So many vendors worked together perfectly to create the gorgeous look they are donning, and even through the weather their looks stayed perfectly!

The weather was not in our favor, but it worked out beautifully anyways!

The typical Washington weather for this elopement started off as a foggy day in the redwoods. The nice overcast weather quickly turned to rain, and it even hailed a little bit. This adorable clear umbrella came to the rescue and made for even more adorable photos! I just loved how easy going Jessica and Gracie were, because this weather could have ruined the day for them, but instead of letting that happen, they made the best of it!

Once the storms cleared a little, they arrived at a beautifully set up picnic and had a little champagne and charcuterie. This was the perfect way to celebrate their love and end their time with us.

Now, these two did not actually marry each other on this day. They are engaged in real life and are getting married next summer. Both of them were wearing stunning dresses with more of a boho look, which is gorgeous in this setting. Their flowers complimented their looks perfectly! And Gracie’s Gigi Pip hat, I mean, just drop dead gorgeous.

Every little detail was so well thought out and the florals were stunning as they got covered in rain drops. The whole experience of this day with Gracie and Jessica was so perfect. I feel that all the details represented them so well!

One of the things I loved about this day was to experience these kinds of views that make you feel like the only people in the world. If you know me, you know that I am not the most athletic person out there, but the entire time, we stayed within a mile of the parking lot and the walk was so nice and easy. If you are getting married in Washington or Oregon, consider making a trip to the redwoods in your wedding attire (or even on your wedding day if you are close) and creating some beautiful portraits out there.
