Kailey & Brandon | Wawawai Canyon Engagement Session | Pullman, WA 

This adorable Eastern Washington engagement session was super fun and I am so glad that I got to meet these two!! They are both recent alumni (or soon to be) of Washington State University, and have so many ambitions in life. They also brought along their two pups, Alani & Drogo, along for this gorgeous sunset. 

This day was absolutely beautiful and Brandon & Kailey were able to shine in this beautiful sunset! We started with the sun a little below the hills so we could get some variety throughout their album, while staying relatively close to the same spot. Brandon recently had ACL surgery on his knee, so we wanted to be mindful of how far he would have to walk. If you are someone who doesn’t want to hike or have a longggg walk for beautiful pictures, this spot is definitely for you!

Another favorite thing about this location nestled into eastern Washington is that it has so many gorgeous neutral colors. This black rock path just creates a stunning palette with literally anything you would want to wear. Kailey chose a gorgeous white dress paired with Brandon’s white shirt and blue shorts. This is a perfect pairing. It really lets their emotions shine as none of it is too distracting, but compliments them perfectly. 

Some of my favorite moments from this session were these few photos. As they walked ahead of me to the next stop, we would be able to see the sunset a little more! 

The way the setting sun hits the grass here is just beautiful. It creates a little more dynamic color palette and depth for this location. Here, they had a little dancing practice and just snuggled up to watch the sunset a little bit. This is the perfect spot to just soak in the sun! 

We finished the session overlooking the Snake River, which flows from Wyoming through Idaho and into eastern Washington. What a gorgeous sight to end the evening with!
